Perhaps ripping my M-Audio Revolution 7.1 back out of the closet and reinstalling that card (used to get lots of hisses and pops with that card as well as lack of driver updates was frustrating). Does anybody out there know anything about this card? Know what kind of DAC's it has on board? Processing chip it uses? I've been considering buying a new sound card (currently an unhappy owner of an Audigy 2 ZS Value) and have been kicking around the following options.
